Imagined Artfully, “Integral” is:

…That which is thoroughly involved in the multifaceted promotion of wholeness and helpfulness;

…That which runs, and plays, and dances joyfully with the bold curiosity and heart of an impassioned dreamer on an open-ended horizon of developmental potentials;

…That which seeks to engage, and make better sense of, both the myriad riches and fathomless diversity—ever-weaving spaces to live and learn between the strands of involution and evolution—that is walking amidst this divine permaculture of manifest and prospective life potentials;

…That which spans interior and exterior worlds, multiple ways of knowing, complimentary forms of intelligence, and multi-perspectival awareness of, and appreciation for: goodness, truth, and beauty for both the all-inclusive whole, and its every, constituent relationship and component part.

What is Integral Theory?

Integral Theory, in general, springs from the work of Ken Wilber, and offers a vast field of perspectives and means that may be drawn upon in order to deliver a helpful and healthy palette of elective existential options (set up with choice-making well intact) for whatever the client brings to the table. By way of its expansive reach—in seeking to explain, appreciate, make meaningful, and include so many intelligences and ways of knowing, being, and living—Integral Theory can offer incredible depths of opportunity, not only for the conceptualization of a client’s challenges, but also for the direct experience of the opportunities such apparent ‘obstacles’ afford.

And yet, for those not necessarily interested in its richly woven web of elaborated theory, there is also the simple and poetic side of all that aims to be “Integral”: Integral seeks the mobilization and elaboration of a basic orientation to holism. It is one expression of evolving face of help and health—help and health for the One, for the Many, for the All, and for all the relations between each and every part to its others.

What does it mean, and why might it be useful, to use an Integral Approach?

The deployment of an Integral Approach in practicing readings is one of my primary means to address and connect with a diverse clientele—in terms they find readily comprehensible, and seemingly native to their own modes of approach, reflection, and insight. The repertoire of an Integral Approach to readings is rich, spanning multiple cultural modes, means, preferences, and styles, while also greatly expanding the options available to link and build bridges between being and becoming, which are so often disparate worlds of experience.

Such an approach is also both a conceptual means by which to approach the elaboration of helpful options, as well as an effective body of knowledge by which to imagine, communicate, and advocate for the improvement of our individual yet collective pursuit of an effective and enchanting marriage, in every moment, between what is and what can be. What is the currency of such a marriage between actuality and possibility? It is a currency forged through our own engagement, constitutive activities, and loving vow—made to the moment of encounter in respect of each other as complimentarily distributed expressions and journeys of a ultimately united front.

When we face challenges and struggles that are the inevitable consequence of living and walking each and every life path, we are searching for the immanent keys that will unlock the lesson of how it is we may presently grow. In light of the mutually reinforcing tools of an Integral ART—Astrology Readings and Tarot—approach, we simultaneously enrich ourselves (including new frontiers for personal development and integration) while expanding the scope of our search for the immanent keys that will help us more fully make sense of our experiences.

It is my aim to share with you with these archetypally laden sets of symbolically saturated tools, which have enriched my own life, so that you show up and stand more fully prepared to make sense of those insights available to you in your life. On the ever-blooming path of growing, learning, and living—this the creative process of making your own life into a more integral and whole work of living art—may you look intently and find the support that will best serve the realization of your highest potential.
